HEALTHY EATING
Parajuru offers a variety of tropical delights that are always freshly prepared at Refúgios Parajuru. Many healthy fruits such as mango, acerola, lemon, papaya and green coconut come from our own cultivation. Delicious fruits and homemade jams are served daily for breakfast at Refúgios Parajuru.
The fresh fish, which is served at dinner, is bought from the local fishermen who still fish with their jangadas (small sailboats).
For many dishes, the well-known cashew nuts, which also grow in the Refúgios gardens, are used. These nuts are processed in a small factory nearby and can be purchased to take with you as a gift. Cashews have the highest magnesium content among nuts and contain polyunsaturated fatty acids.
